Working with Napa Parks and Recreation, First 5 Napa County launched the next phase of its Talk, Read, Sing campaign in Napa County with the installation of Talk, Read, Sing panels in the play structure at Las Flores Park. Part of a nationwide push to promote early brain and language development, the panels include conversation prompts to encourage parents to talk, read and sing with their children. This inclusive play experience fosters fun, language-rich interactions between parents and children thanks to a partnership with Napa Parks and Recreation, Too Small to Fail, and Landscape Structures. Plans are underway to install Talk, Read, Sing panels in Fuller Park and Playground Fantastico in Napa in spring 2017.
